You can cancel any subscription at any time, yourself, via Billing → Manage & cancel. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling by itself does not trigger a refund.
If you subscribe as a consumer in the EU or UK, you may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason — email support@use-pharos.com from your account address. Because you request that the service starts immediately at checkout, the refund is proportional: we deduct the share of the billing period that has already elapsed and refund the rest.
You can switch a subscription's billing interval (monthly ↔ annual) at any time from the Billing page. Stripe prorates the change: moving to annual bills the difference for the rest of the period up front, while moving to monthly leaves a prorated credit toward your next invoice (credits are not paid out as cash). If you buy Team while you have a personal Pro subscription, we end the now-redundant Pro and credit its unused portion toward your Team billing. Changing plans is not a cancellation and does not trigger a refund.
The withdrawal right applies to the initial purchase, not to automatic renewals. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge — annual subscribers get a reminder email before their plan renews. Renewal charges are not refundable except where the law requires otherwise or at our discretion. If a payment fails, we email the workspace owner and Stripe retries automatically. If it keeps failing, a shared (Team) workspace is paused until billing is restored — nothing in it is deleted, and access returns immediately on renewal.
Extra-seat charges are prorated from the day a member joins and invoiced immediately; removing a member creates a prorated credit on the next invoice the same way. Seat charges follow the same withdrawal rules as the subscription they belong to.
After the 14-day window (or where no statutory withdrawal right applies, including business/B2B subscriptions), we don't refund partial periods. If something went genuinely wrong — you were double-charged, or the service was materially broken for you — write to us; we handle such cases individually and err on the side of the customer.
Refunds go to the original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days of approval.
